Grand Rounds x 2 and a Schmooze

Go enjoy two servings of grand rounds.

First up is Pediatric Grand Rounds, up at Parenting Solved. PGR is a nice compilation of articles by both medical bloggers and parent bloggers. PS has put together a fine concise overview of the hot reads in the pediatric blogging world.

Second up is Grand Rounds for the taller folk (although I don’t think they exclude pediatrics) up at Vitum Medicinus. This blog is authored by a 2nd year Canadian medical student, and I must say that he has put it together in an extremely readable and well-organized fashion. I highly commend it to you.

OK, now I have to give a tip of the hat to the two who have nominated me for the Power of Positive Schmoozing Award: Amanda Justice of It’s about the Walls, and Enrico of Mexican Medical Student. Both of these fine bloggers are good daily reads and only fall short in that they are regular readers of this blog (and they admit it!).

What can I say? I would like to thank my Mother for raising me as she did and would like to dedicate this award to all of the people in Africa who don’t have a chance to win a Schmoozing award. Holly was especially delighted, but then I explained that it was a schmoozing award, not a snoozing award. Thanks for the award…I guess.
