Tis’ a busy season in the blog world.  Life is good; life is busy.  I have actually had a very good time blogging lately.  Here are a few things going on in my world:

  • With the help of Moof, you can obtain a poster version of the flowsheet used in my last "Ask Dr. Rob" post.  Moof feels like people may want this.  I am not totally sure, but it costs nothing to offer, so click on the link on the sidebar if you are interested.
  • Thanks too to Moof for helping me move my blog to a different server.  It is good to know smart people.
  • Princeglyph The first podcast is coming along nicely.  We will probably release the first edition of "Doctors Unmedicated" later this week.  I am doing this podcast along with TBFKACB (the blogger formerly known as Clark Bartram), and Sam of Blog, MD.  It will be a mix of humor (I will have an "Ask Dr. Rob" section, and there will also be a Knudsen’s News segment), interviews (both serious and not), and whatever else hits our fancies (although I don’t like my fancy to be hit).  Sam is out of the country at this time, so it will be just myself and TBFKACB.  I think you will enjoy the outcome.
  • My deepest thanks go to Tara Parker-Pope for featuring my blog on the NY Times Health Blog.  I suspect it is a clear sign of the apocalypse that this would happen.  Be afraid, people.
  • I am really grateful to all who were so nice regarding Grand Rounds.  I had a great time doing it, although it did suck a lot of life out of me for a while.

Have a great day, everyone!

I saw you and Sid Schwab quoted in the NYT this a.m.
Kudos and Congrats!
But your flow-chart on choosing a ped; and your code of ethics were NOT featured/credited. What a shame!

Speaking of ethics, does anybody know or know how to contact N=1, who writes at Universal Health (blog)? I am concerned about her–her last 2 posts to the blog were scary to me. I am worried for her safety. Can anybody help?

I caught my fancy in a car door once and let me tell you I did not soon forget it. I’ve signed the contract for my apppearance on your upcoming podcast and have overnighted it via certified mail. When do I get my money?

That is a great idea to do that poster! I think I may get one and give it to my boy’s pediatrician as a Christmas/we are moving this summer gift.

I can’t wait to hear the podcast. I have really missed Clark.
