Here is hoping that your 2008 is worthy of saying: “an wil tak a recht guid-wullae-wocht, fir ald lang syn.” I have not forgotten about all of my friends out their in blogland. I still am posting on Medpage (check it out) and hope to get back to blogging at some point on this ald blog.

I never really liked that song, by the way. So, for those of you who are turned off by Guy Lombardo, I give you:

llama

Fly Llambardo.

Happy New Years!

Happy New Year, Dr. Rob! Was the llama out flying surveillence for the army you are mobilizing to track down surgeons who don’t send progress notes back to PMD’s?

Ach, shame ye dinnae like Auld Lang syn. Wi’ Celtic harp, the solo pipes, a dram an’ fine company, the mdinight passing is alluring for sure.

Just wandered here to wish you well for 2008.

From the misty moorland and highland glens, where many a noble stag doth stand.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I am a practicing primary care physician in the Southeastern US, caring for patients of all ages (Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics). This blog covers a wide variety of issues, including the following: What it is like to be a physician, dogs driving cars, what troubles are in our system, toddlers with flame-throwers, what would it take to fix that system, llamas, death and dying issues, mutants, and accordions. Maybe I need to write about mutant dying accordions with flame-throwers. Hmmm....I feel a post coming. Anyhow, I like variety. Life is always lived with both laughter and tears. If you are a regular reader of this blog, it is also filled with nausea and nightmares. Thanks for stopping by. -Dr. Rob
