Shh….Covert Grand Rounds are Being Rationed

Date July 1, 2008

OK, they are not covert, in fact they are downright overt.  No rationing either (thank goodness), but instead an all-you-can-eat buffet of the blogging world is at your whim.

But I got your attention, and the attention is well deserved.  Dr. Rich over at the Covert Rationing Blog hosts grand rounds this week (including my silly Amway entry).  For someone with as short of an attention span, grand rounds is always a bit overwhelming, but he seems to do a great job (using a founding-fathers theme).

While you are there for GR, check out the rest of his blog.  He seems to be someone with a fair amount of insight, and I think I will add him to my own daily read list (ever burgeoning).

Happy 4th.

Dr. Rich’s book is a must-read, Rob. I LOVED it. Check it out when you have some “extra time” on your hands. Even Zippy would like it… :)

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. I am a practicing primary care physician in the Southeastern US, caring for patients of all ages (Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics). This blog covers a wide variety of issues, including the following: What it is like to be a physician, dogs driving cars, what troubles are in our system, toddlers with flame-throwers, what would it take to fix that system, llamas, death and dying issues, mutants, and accordions. Maybe I need to write about mutant dying accordions with flame-throwers. Hmmm....I feel a post coming. Anyhow, I like variety. Life is always lived with both laughter and tears. If you are a regular reader of this blog, it is also filled with nausea and nightmares. Thanks for stopping by. -Dr. Rob
