Zippy is browbeating cancer on my site. Go Zippy, go!

I never lived in NY. I like the y'alls . I think that's in about every other sentence when I talk. ;) My grandmother, who was raised in the ultimate boonies of Virginia, taught her children not to say ain't, though, because she believed in education and that one should speak "educated". My mother carried that on through to my generation, and I onto the next. I suspect they will carry it on, too. However, my girls are now city gals.

Now that my children are grown, I occasionally sneak in an ain't here and there. I get a good chuckle out of it, although it's a private joke and most would never understand. But I know my grandmother up in heaven does. She's probably winking at me. And I feel like I've gotten away with something.

Do you ever say ain't, Dr. Rob? ;) I hope you have some of those chuckle moments. Life's short.

Love Dr. Gurley's exploits with Zippy. What fun. And Dr. Gurley seems like a lot of fun!

Hey, Dr. Rob. I just wanted to drop you a line to say I'm enjoying your blog. Where in Rochester did you grow up? I moved to Brighton about 2 years ago.
