Sorry for the mess-up yesterday. I am going to figure out how to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Apparently I am using too much bandwidth. Perhaps I am eating too many donuts. My bandwidth has grown and grown. It’s a pain in the band.
But that’s all good, right? That means there are a lot of you reading my rambling right now. Some of you have done things for me that definitely deserve recognition. What kind of recognition?

Golden Llama Awards!!
So here are today’s awardees:
- Ramona Bates – Suture for a Living. This one was long overdue. She made a quilt for my niece who was severely injured by a drunk driver. It was incredible. They don’t make them much nicer.
- Moof – Probably the one most deserving of a GLA – She fixed the blog yesterday, and helped me with my more serious crash last year. She also is the person who LONG AGO discovered my blog and sent all her readers to see me.
- Enrico – Saved my heiney before grand rounds by redirecting the URL so my Medscape readers could make it to the blog. Whew. Thank goodness for smart people to bail out dopes like me.
- Andrea – who gave me the MSNBC article. Gotta give some high-fives for heading me in the right direction there.
- Ken O – the only person who seemed to notice that I changed the text up on the upper right hand side of the blog. He found the easter egg. He wins.
I will send each of these folks the HTML code so they can display the GLA on their own website (or paste to the wall in their room, if they have no website).
I truly am thankful for my readers/friends I have made through blogging. Good folks that I am much better for having (cyber) met.
Congratulations.
