Okay ..having just a bit of blogger's remorse over my comment above regarding cows and llamas. Chalk it up to zany inane humor activated if still up past 2 am.

Glad you're back Rob. :)

ps. Finally... I topped your bejeweled score after about 3 weeks. ;)

Good Morning ... or afternoon ..or evening, Rob - Gee they must be like cows ..the llamas... because if they're dairy cows the owners can't go anywhere unless someone else tends to the milking ..morning and night (Our neighbors were dairy people)..although llamas don't give milk ..thus don't get milked and so in that sense I suppose it's apples and oranges .. the llamas and cows ...but they are similar because you can't get away from them without help. And llamas and cows both make noise ..apparently ..cows moo and llamas ..well actually ..I don't know what llamas say but I know they spit and cows don't spit ..but cows chew cud and I suppose if they did spit ..they'd spit the cud like chewin tobacco and that'd be messy but then llama spittle all around can't be to nice either. So it seems they have two things in common ..llamas and cows do ..they both make noise and you can't leave them alone ...wait.. and they breathe. I'm just sayin.. ;)

Welcome back Rob.

May you and your family have a Blessed and Happy New Year ..in this wonderful life! :)

For what it's worth. My Mom always said "Normal is a setting on a Dryer - not a person or child". I always wondered if my babies were doing "normal" baby things, worrying that something was wrong.

Welcome back. I really related to this post since I write just to write. Sometimes, as you, it's' over something passionate and other times I just need to produce the words and see how they stream together. I look forward to reading more of your posts! so no slacking! LOL Have a good holiday season.

Just to pick a little. "...difference between me and Jimmy, however, is that he did all sorts of good things for people and I am just sharing my thoughts (sometimes a little deranged) and sharing myself." I, for one, think that you sharing your thoughts with us is doing all sorts of good things for people. I don't think any of us (except the llamas) come here hoping for bitter medicine. You help us think and laugh and cry. That is doing good.

And now that you understand that you do not need to be driven in your writing, you can do some good for yourself as well. Best medicine there is.

Since I'd only found your blog a week or so before you wrote to say you were taking a break, I'm glad you're back, even now and then. Blogging is a fun, gentle way to interact with others while indulging the muse --and you do it particularly well.
